The Rock Shop

The Rock Shop (located inside Eagle Craft & Hobby) is the best little rock & mineral shop in Northern Wisconsin.

Long time visitors to Eagle River will remember the original “Rock Shop” owned and operated by Dick & Rose Bauer since 1950 at the corner of Hwys 45 and 70 just east of Eagle River. Their kids, Dave, Christine, and Kathy (who owns Grandma’s Toy Box and Eagle Craft & Hobby), moved everything downtown in 2007.

At The Rock Shop, you’ll find amazing natural wonders. A rock or mineral gift will last forever and will add character to any home or office.

Amethyst, geodes, quartz crystals, copper, Lake Superior agates, petrified wood, Brazilian agates & slabs, fool’s gold, and rough opals are some of what you’ll find.

“Healing stones” are sold individually or as a set.

Children can “pick a bag of rocks” from our display or can choose a carved onyx animal or worry stone.

We have rock tumblers and grit for tumbling stones, rock scoops & diggers, and resource books for the serious rockhound.
